Robert Tandecki has been painting watercolors for over 40 years. Bob became a full time artist in 1980 and has never looked back. His favorite subjects are the marine and rural history of the Pacific Northwest in which he calls home.
'My main focus in a painting is the weather and mood'. Bob's 'moody' watercolors has won him many top awards and has sold his works to collectors worldwide. In 2003 he was awarded the 'Grand Prize' winner of the prestigious 'Arts for the Parks' in which received over 2000 entries world wide. He was featured in Artists magazine's 'Watercolor Magic' and has covered several other magazines .
He also has done paintings for the Coast Guard Art Program COGAP and since 1987 been featured in the Foss Tugboat calendars. Bob has traveled Alaska's Inside Passage by boat many times for painting ideas and as a guest artist for'Cruise West' Gold Rush Tours. Bob is a signature member of the National Watercolor Society (NWS) and American Society of Marine Artists (ASMA).
